Mardi Gras Launched today

Sydney Mardi Gras was launched for 2009 at Fair Day today.   Fortunately the rain mainly stayed away after a wet night.

A great day for all. I had a chance to catch up with some other SGLBA members and Sydney Outfielders who were fundraising for the Out Games in Copenhagen.

Adam from Points of Difference was promoting the inaugural Frosty Fruits Ski Trip to Jindabyne & Thredbo in July.

Remember if you are coming to Sydney we have some great deals - we still have rooms at the Radisson for $220 a night or a great apartment for 6 at under $600 a night plus lots more with rooms starting from $100 (or even lower). Check out our Mardi Gras page for all the details.

Disaster has struck rural Victoria today with the worst fires in Australia's recent history.

Our thoughts are with all those in Victoria caught up in this tragedy. If you would like to donate to the appeal for those who have lost friends, family and their homes you can do so via the Australian Red Cross Website.
