Air New Zealand - Lower Airfares

Airfares have been increasing with the price of fuel so it was great news to read the following:

Trans-Tasman fares to be slashed by up to 50 per cent

It is all good news for travel between Australia and New Zealand with Air New Zealand dropping their airfares. You can be sure other airlines will follow.

So now is a great time for those living in Australia and New Zealand to take the 3 hour trip across the ditch and explore each other's countries.

Rainbow Tourism has all of Australia and New Zealand covered and we suggest you check out the various destinations -

Outside the major centres why not check out

Napier - the Art Deco city - and the great Hawkes Bay Wineries.
Nelson - great beaches, great outdoor regions but also a lot of local artisans.
Hunter Valley - Explore the wineries
Sunshine Coast - Beaches but amazing hinterland

Do you have any favourite Australia or New Zealand destinations - let us know by leaving a comment below.

Reservation Choices On and Offline

Overall, only a small proportion of domestic or foreign travelers used the services of a travel agent in the last 12 months: 18% of total adult travelers and 13% of travelers in the gay/lesbian group.

A notable proportion of GLBT travelers (35%) visited online travel websites or used their time online to obtain information or make travel reservations compared to the mainstream (30%) who used online services.

Whichever type of traveler you are – do it yourself, book online or use an IGLTA travel agent – the good news is that there are more gay and lesbian tours and accommodations than ever before – wherever on the gay globle you’re going.

Lesbian nomads Kate and Dee, who claim Colorado as home, are typical of travelers who use gay and lesbian online resources to plan, select and book their next destination or dee-tour.
