25th Anniversary Year Begins Countdown to Cologne


The 1350 participants at Gay Games I in 1982 dreamed there would be many more Gay Games to come.

Fortunately for our community, a handful of dedicated and visionary people, led by former Olympian Dr. Tom Waddell, organized and created the first Gay Games and Cultural Festival.


The rest, as they say, is history.
