Tasmania: The Rainbow Isle

Somewhere over the rainbow and St. Mary's Pass lies the fantastic Rainbow Retreat, atop St. Patrick Mtn.
It definitely lives up to its name, and after every sprinkle and rain splash there's rainbow after rainbow. Come to the gay owned Rainbow Retreat and become a believer.

Ian and Peter, partners and business associates for more than 20 years, have made the sea change to NE Tasmania and built a spectacular "green" retreat for G&L visitors. About 10% of the guests are gay or lesbian couples, seeking a great spot to unwind and rejuvenate, maybe even have their union celebrated by Peter. The catering by Ian can't be beat for any ocassion!

This year, Rainbow Retreat Wilderness Eco Cabins won the People's Choice Award for unique local accommodation, and their woodfire pizza helped earn them the accolades.

Check in, order food to match the local wines provided in your room, then relax on the deck to watch the sunset. Theres hardly a better view in all of Tasmania. I know, I've searched for it and found in in St. Mary', of all places!
