Destination: Noosa in QLD

Can you keep a secret?
Easter is here and Noosa Avalon Farm is enjoying the change of the season with the colours of autumn, getting ready for the wonderful crisp nights and glorious warm days of winter in the Noosa Hinterland.

Don't hesitate to give us a call when planning your next holiday in the Noosa area. Please let your friends know about our special wildlife retreat and sanctuary so they too can rest and rejuvenate their souls.

Heres to a fabulous and safe Easter for you and your family.

All the best, Linda and Staff

Destination: Phillip Island in Victoria

Serious about food? Passisonate about wine? Those are just two good reasons to get out of Melbourne and overnight on the gay-friendly island. Just a little over an hour away... yet another world.

Chicory Restaurant is a new venture for Phillip Island where the gay owners are bringing a Melbourne dining experience to regional Victoria.

I think you should drive right on over to Chicory Restaurant in Cowes for some modern Australian cuisine (AKA pure culinary delight.) Ask Peter about his lemon and lime tart - but save that for last. First take a gander at the fine wine list and Peter will help you match it to the catch of the day.

Happy Trails, Dee

PS For less than a hundred bucks, we dined on fresh seafood, had two glasses of local vino, and dessert. Well worth a visit!

Destination: Queenstown House

From Louise at Queenstown House

We have been chosen as one of Elizabeth Hansen's "Top 12 places to stay in New Zealand," as featured in the March issue of the prestigious National Geographic Traveller magazine. We are delighted with this appreciation of our efforts!

We have joined the Heritage and Character Inns of New Zealand group and are the largest Inn in this charming collection.

A couple of months ago I was appointed to the board of Destination Queenstown which is the marketing representative for the town.

Queenstown House is keeping me very busy particularly during the popular summer months. Bernie Kirby is into her fifth year as my number one assistant and we have a great team of helpers to ensure our guests have the most memorable experience.

Now is the time to be thinking of skiing and particulaly Festival Week which starts 23rd June, a fortnight of fun.
