Girlfest -31 Mar. - 2 Apr. 2006 - promises to rock the Gold Coast with 2500 participants during THE weekend for women. It will be jam packed with a comedy evening, live bands, a dance party, plus a blues and jazz recovery party and a golf tournament!

Destination: Mardi Gras & Recovery Central

The OutTraveller, one of the leading USA travel magazines, has named Sydney's Mardi Gras as the world's best all-gay event...but surprisingly, Sydney was named third best foreign city for gay travellers in a tie with Amsterdam. (Paris & London took the top two places.)

The magazine also spotlighted one of Rainbow Tourism Network's members in its 2005 Reader's Choice Awards; it named Queensland's Turtle Cove Resort as the premier gay resort. You can book in there for post Mardi Gras recovery - if you act quick!

Another Rainbow Tourism Network member with a soothing Mardi Gras recovery package is Mai Tai Resort, also near Port Douglas in Far North Queensland. (See photo.) This is an exclusive Balinese Mountain Retreat set in a rainforest, where both men and women are welcome.

The resort caters for a maximum of 8 guests at any one time, offering an intimate, relaxed atmosphere where clothing is optional. So grab your friends and book now for a luxurious post party.
